About

This pilot proposal for higher education aims to explore CRISPR-Cas9 technologies in a multidisciplinary context, including art, design, and humanities students.

Teaching methods & learning activities

The course includes theoretical classes, creative exercises, and (wet) labwork.

Objectives and outcomes

The course aims to contribute introduce CRISPR to a wider audience while debating its’ technological, ethical, and artistic implications and limitations.

Structure

The pilot course was designed to allow you to adapt it to your context (country, education level, field of study).

Program / contents

The course explores subjects from science, art, and design related to genetics, gene editing, CRISPR, and its’ relationship with creativity.

Materials

We propose a series of material interweaving theoretical and practical, scientific and artistic contents and approaches.
